Red River calls itself "The Ski Town of the Southwest" and mountain fun is the primary activity here. After the lifts close down, this little old mining town perks up.

A sight of light. Each Saturday night at 7:00pm The Torch Light Parade is held. Watch expert skiers, ski down the slope together with torches in hand. A spectacular sight to see.
Take a hike! The trails are like none other in Red River. One of the best ways to enjoy them is to just get out and hike. There are 138 marked trails for all skill levels.
Don't forget your paddle! One favorite activity for many is white water rafting. There are half-day, full-day, and over night rafting trips. From beginners to experts, everyone is welcome.
